What We Do
Our WorkAs the leading inter-governmental organization promoting humane and orderly migration, IOM plays a key role to support the achievement of the 2030 Agenda through different areas of intervention that connect both humanitarian assistance and sustainable development. In Haiti, IOM partners with the Government on migration management and capacity building programs, as well as to address and mitigate the effect that natural disasters have on the most vulnerable population.

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) conducts and supports data production and research designed to guide and inform migration policy and practice. Research is designed to enhance IOM’s programme delivery and contribute to a broader understanding of migration patterns and processes, as well as the links between migration research and migration policy and practice. Research also feeds directly into IOM’s role as a publisher of applied research findings, including through IOM’s flagship publication, the World Migration Report, papers published in the Migration Research Series, and IOM Migration Profiles.
The resources below highlight IOM's ongoing work in Haiti through situation reports, newsletters, and a variety of relevant publications.
